Cruise control

Fiat Punto cruise control

Fitted to a Fiat Punto, the CAN KONTROL CRUISE gives set, hold and resume cruise on a city car that did not come with it, useful for the motorway miles a small car still does. It reads road speed off the Fiat CAN bus. The unit is configured to the vehicle at installation.

How it works
  • The unit reads road speed and the drive signals it needs from the vehicle CAN bus.
  • It adds set, hold and resume cruise control using the vehicle CAN data.
  • The behaviour is configured to the vehicle at installation and can be updated.
  • It works at 12V and 24V and is configured to the vehicle and application.

Why fit cruise control to a Fiat Punto

Retrofitting cruise to a Fiat Punto brings a base small car up to the comfort of higher trims for long drives. It works from the vehicle's CAN bus rather than a throttle cable, so it fits cleanly and is configured to the specific car.

City cars and superminis are the models most likely to leave the factory without cruise control, yet they still cover motorway distance where it helps. The CAN KONTROL CRUISE adds set-and-hold cruise to the Fiat Punto from its CAN data, with nothing mechanical to fit, set up to the vehicle.

Workshop fit off the CAN bus, no-cut inductive option on vehicles under warranty, and free configuration updates from Intellitec, part of Scorpion Group.
