The i2CAN range gives vehicle converters and aftermarket installers a simple way to take signals off a modern vehicle’s CAN bus and use them to drive relays, lights, telematics inputs and other equipment. It replaces fragile splice-and-tap wiring with an isolated, configurable module that reads the bus and switches real outputs.
The i2CAN-8 is the standard module for most installs, with two CAN peripherals and eight outputs to cover a full conversion from one unit. The i2CAN-4 is the simpler single-line option where fewer outputs are needed.
Every module is UK designed and manufactured. Each comes as a budget option that returns to the factory for CAN signal upgrades, or a premium option with USB OTG for local reprogramming in the field, so one module can be reconfigured and recycled across different vehicle types as a fleet changes.
Where it fits
CAN interface modules suit any build that needs to react to what the base vehicle is doing: reversing, indicating, road speed, ignition state, handbrake and door signals, and more. Typical uses include amber-light and utility conversions, welfare and workshop vehicles, camera and telematics installs, and OEM programmes that need a repeatable, documented way to read the bus.
The i2CAN platform is supplied configured for a specific job under the CAN KONTROL range, which names each configuration by what it does: reverse camera triggers, parking sensor control, road speed feeds, lighting outputs and more. If you are switching from a single-function interface, the CANM8 cross-reference shows the CAN KONTROL equivalent for common parts.
Tell us the vehicle and the signals you need, and we will confirm the right module and configuration.
