CAN KONTROL CAMERA 8
The CAN KONTROL CAMERA 8 is an eight-output CAN bus interface for multi-camera and side-scan systems. It switches a reverse camera on reverse gear, side cameras on the indicators, and a front camera that drops out above a set road speed, making it a strong fit for Direct Vision Standard (DVS) and FORS builds.

Why it exists
A commercial camera build needs several triggers at once: reverse for the rear camera, left and right indicators for the side cameras, and a road speed condition for the front camera. The CAN KONTROL CAMERA 8 reads all of these off the bus and drives the cameras and monitor accordingly.
Speed-conditioned front camera
The front camera is there for low-speed manoeuvring, so it is set to switch off once the vehicle passes a chosen road speed. Arming and muting on a speed threshold is a read condition off the bus, so the front view comes on in town and drops out on the open road.
Built for DVS and FORS
Reverse, indicator-triggered side cameras and a speed-conditioned front camera are exactly the pattern that Direct Vision Standard and FORS builds call for. One CAN KONTROL CAMERA 8 covers the trigger logic for the whole camera set from the CAN bus.
It is the Intellitec alternative to the CANNECT CAMSCAN-8. Where a single-function interface is fixed to one job and one voltage, the CAN KONTROL CAMERA 8 is configured to the task, works on 12V and 24V, and is backed by the UK manufacturer. If you need a signal that is not on the standard list, we can develop it.
What stays the same
- The same two-wire connection to CAN high and CAN low, plus a fused permanent supply and earth.
- The same triggers off the bus: reverse for the rear camera and the indicators for the side cameras.
