CAN KONTROL HIGHBEAM
The CAN KONTROL HIGHBEAM detects main beam on the vehicle CAN bus and switches auxiliary driving lights through a relay. It is the Intellitec alternative to the CANNECT HIGHBEAM: read the high-beam state off the bus and drive a relay coil, with no splice into the headlight wiring.

Why it exists
Auxiliary driving lights should come on with main beam and go off with it. On a modern vehicle the high-beam state sits on the CAN bus, so the CAN KONTROL HIGHBEAM reads it there and switches the driving lights to follow main beam, without cutting into the headlight circuit.
Drives a relay
The outputs drive up to 900mA, which is enough to switch a relay coil. The relay then carries the current for the driving lights themselves, so the interface handles the trigger logic and the relay handles the load. Wire the lights through the relay as normal.
Four-output variant
Where a build needs more than one switched output, the HIGHBEAM-4 four-output version is the same platform by configuration. Tell us how many outputs the job needs and we set the unit up accordingly.
It is the Intellitec alternative to the CANNECT HIGHBEAM. Where a single-function interface is fixed to one job and one voltage, the CAN KONTROL HIGHBEAM is configured to the task, works on 12V and 24V, and is backed by the UK manufacturer. If you need a signal that is not on the standard list, we can develop it.
What stays the same
- The same two-wire connection to CAN high and CAN low, plus a fused permanent supply and earth.
- The same method: read main beam off the bus and drive a relay coil for the driving lights.
