The CAN KONTROL MULTI 8 is an eight-output CAN bus interface where every output is yours to assign. Each of the eight outputs can be configured to any event on the bus, and the unit reads two independent CAN buses, making it the blank canvas for a custom vehicle conversion.

Why it exists
A fixed-function interface gives you one job on one output. A custom conversion often needs several signals at once, chosen from anywhere on the bus. The CAN KONTROL MULTI 8 gives you eight outputs to assign as the build demands, instead of stacking up several single-function parts.
Two buses, eight outputs
The unit reads two independent CAN buses, so it can pick up signals from more than one network on the vehicle. Each of the eight outputs is then assigned to the CAN event you choose, whether that is a lighting state, a gear position, a speed threshold or an ignition condition.
Fitting
It takes a two-wire connection to each CAN bus plus a fused permanent supply and earth. On vehicles under warranty it can read the bus with a no-cut inductive connection, leaving the native loom intact.
It is the Intellitec alternative to the CANNECT IDR8. Where a single-function interface is fixed to one job and one voltage, the CAN KONTROL MULTI 8 is configured to the task, works on 12V and 24V, and is backed by the UK manufacturer. If you need a signal that is not on the standard list, we can develop it.
What stays the same
- The same two-wire connection to CAN high and CAN low, plus a fused permanent supply and earth.
- The same install method: read events off the bus and drive outputs, without cutting into native circuits.
