The CAN KONTROL PARK FRONT controls front parking sensors from the vehicle CAN bus, arming them below a set road speed and muting them above it. One configurable line does the work of several fixed CANM8 parts, so the same unit covers the jobs the CANNECT PARK ONE, PARK SM2 and PARK ONE 24V did separately.

Why it exists

Front parking sensors should work at manoeuvring speed and go quiet once you pull away. That means the unit needs to know road speed, which lives on the CAN bus. The CAN KONTROL PARK FRONT reads it there and arms the sensors below a threshold, muting them above it.

One line, several parts

A fixed interface splits the same job across separate parts for different vehicles and voltages. The CAN KONTROL PARK FRONT is configured to the vehicle, so one line covers what the PARK ONE, PARK SM2, PARK ONE 24V and the rear (R) variant handled as separate stock.

Fitting

It takes a two-wire connection to the CAN bus plus a fused permanent supply and earth. On vehicles under warranty it can read the bus with a no-cut inductive connection, leaving the native loom intact.

It is the Intellitec alternative to the CANNECT PARK ONE, PARK SM2, PARK ONE 24V. Where a single-function interface is fixed to one job and one voltage, the CAN KONTROL PARK FRONT is configured to the task, works on 12V and 24V, and is backed by the UK manufacturer. If you need a signal that is not on the standard list, we can develop it.

What stays the same

  • The same two-wire connection to CAN high and CAN low, plus a fused permanent supply and earth.
