Why it exists

A lot of equipment just needs a feed that is live under a particular condition: ignition on, engine running, or road speed above a value. The CAN KONTROL POWER reads that condition off the CAN bus and switches its output to match, so accessories power up exactly when they should.

One line, several parts

Where a fixed interface splits ignition, engine-running and RPM-threshold jobs across separate parts, the CAN KONTROL POWER is configured to the condition you want. One line covers what the POWER, POWER RPM and POWER RPM 7S handled as separate stock.

Heavier loads

The output is sized to switch, not to carry a large current, so for a heavier load use it to drive a relay and let the relay carry the load. The interface reads the CAN condition and the relay does the power switching for the accessory.

It is the Intellitec alternative to the CANNECT POWER, POWER RPM, POWER RPM 7S. Where a single-function interface is fixed to one job and one voltage, the CAN KONTROL POWER is configured to the task, works on 12V and 24V, and is backed by the UK manufacturer.
