Renegade buyers often pick it over more anonymous crossovers because of the way it looks. Then the car becomes the daily commuter and the weekend escape, and it covers far more motorway than anyone expected when it was ordered.
Shared parts, separate electronics
Because the Renegade has so much in common with the 500X underneath, people expect one car's part to suit the other. Close is not the same as correct. A part chosen on that basis can leave the cruise behaving oddly or not at all.
How we set it up
We load a Renegade program into CAN KONTROL CRUISE in Chorley, and the Jeep's own CAN messages supply the speed. The throttle is never physically connected. Say if your Renegade is 4x2 or 4x4, and which gearbox it uses, and our engineer agrees the setup with you.
