SsangYong Rexton: retrofit cruise control
People buy a Rexton because it is a big, body-on-frame SUV that will tow a heavy caravan and seat seven. A Rexton without cruise makes the drive to the campsite one long stretch of holding the pedal.

The Rexton is built on a separate chassis like a commercial vehicle, which gives it strength for towing, and it has a third row for the children. It has been sold over several generations, so there are older ones still working alongside much newer ones.
Caravan behind, motorway ahead
Towing a large caravan, the driver has the outfit's length, the mirrors and the traffic to think about. Keeping an even speed on top of all that, for three or four hours, is where fatigue creeps in on a holiday that has barely started.

CAN KONTROL CRUISE uses speed and engine figures from the Rexton's network and has its Rexton configuration loaded in Chorley. Nothing goes on the Rexton's accelerator. For a newer Rexton still under warranty, an inductive, no-cut hookup may be the better choice; we will tell you.
