CANNECT NAV alternative: CAN KONTROL NAV
The customer has bought a sat-nav head unit and handed you the car. The unit wants speed, ignition, reverse and the dimmer line, and the car offers none of them on a wire.
Five signals, one decision
You can chase each signal separately across the loom, or take them all from the bus in one tidy connection. The second route is quicker on the day and easier to put right if the head unit is later swapped.
The CAN KONTROL side
CAN KONTROL NAV supplies speed, ignition, reverse, illumination and park brake to the head unit. The CANM8 NAV and NAV3 both map here. Tell us the head unit as well as the vehicle, because its inputs decide the configuration.
