CANNECT RPM alternative: CAN KONTROL RPM
Fit a rev counter or a PTO control to a modern engine and you quickly find there is no tacho wire left to pick up. The number is on the bus, and you need something that can read it.
Why the alternator trick is not enough
Older fixes took engine speed from the alternator or an injector line. They are fiddly and fail the moment the engine management changes. Reading the message directly avoids the whole argument.
What replaces it
CAN KONTROL RPM outputs engine speed for the equipment you specify, and the cross-reference table sets it beside the CANM8 RPM part. If the target device needs a particular signal shape, give us the device name and we check.
| CANM8 part | CANNECT RPM |
|---|---|
| CAN KONTROL line | RPM |
| Function | Engine RPM for rev counters and PTO control |
| Hardware | CK-2 |
