The new market-leading range of vehicle CAN interface modules from Intellitec offers the vehicle converter and aftermarket installer a range of both budget (return to factory for upgrading of CAN signals) and premium options with USB OTG for local re-programming.

The i2CAN-8 provides two isolated CAN peripherals, allowing two CAN lines to be read independently, and eight switching outputs rated up to 900mA: six positive and two negative. Baud rate is configurable up to 1 Mbps, and the module supports both 11-bit and 29-bit CAN identifiers. A 5V protected output can power inductive CAN readers, and LEDs indicate power, output and data status.

The premium version supports in-field USB upgrades, letting the module be reconfigured and recycled across different vehicle types. A negative-switching i2CAN-8 NEG version is also available. UK manufactured.
