Chevrolet Orlando cruise control retrofit
An Orlando with all seven seats in use is a full car, and the person driving it has enough to think about without holding a steady speed by foot. Parents and cabbies end up asking the same question: can it have cruise?
Seven seats, long shifts
The Orlando found a following with large families and with drivers doing airport and school contract runs. Both groups cover long distances with passengers on board. A day of motorway transfers without cruise is tiring in a way passengers never see.
Tired drivers, unhappy passengers
Fatigue shows as jerky speed, late braking and a short temper by the last job. In private hire, that turns into a poor rating or a complaint. In a family car, it becomes the argument in the front seats.
A set speed for the Orlando
CAN KONTROL CRUISE is programmed for the Orlando in Chorley and uses speed messages already travelling round the Chevrolet's network. No actuator is involved. Operators with several Orlandos get one module per car, and any module can move to a replacement with free reprogramming.

Questions about the Chevrolet Orlando
- Do you supply private hire operators directly?
- Yes. Fleet buyers are welcome; say how many Orlandos and other vehicles are involved.
- Will passengers notice anything?
- No. Once the pace is chosen the Orlando simply holds it, and the only new item in the cabin is the control the driver uses.
- Could the Orlando be wired without cutting into the loom?
- Possibly, using an inductive clamp. Our engineer confirms whether your Orlando can take one.
