Skoda Superb B7 runlock, key version
A Superb B7 on executive work spends long spells parked outside offices, hotels and venues. The client expects to step into a cool car in July and a warm one in January. So the motor runs through the wait, and often while the chauffeur walks inside to collect someone.
Only the key version of the B7 is listed
The Superb B7 on our list is the key version, started with a physical key. If your B7 has keyless entry and start, flag that ahead of ordering and we will look into it. Getting that right at the outset avoids a module prepared for the wrong car.
Climate control on, chauffeur absent
Air conditioning on a hot afternoon, or the heater in winter, is the whole point of keeping the engine on. Without runlock the chauffeur either sits in the car throughout or leaves it running, unlocked, key in. Neither looks good on a hotel forecourt where guests' cars are parked.
What changes with runlock fitted
CAN KONTROL RUNLOCK lets the Superb keep going with its key in your pocket, and the car can still be secured. The B7's own network reports ignition, speed and handbrake state to it, along with what both pedals and the front doors are doing. When the chauffeur climbs back in and touches the brake or lets the handbrake go, the Superb returns to its usual state and drives normally.

Questions about the Skoda Superb B7
- Our Superbs are a mix of B7 and B8. Can you cover both?
- Both appear on our list: the B7 as the key version, the B8 in keyless and key form. Split your numbers by type when you write.
- Can our own installer fit it?
- Yes. Your workshop or installer can do the fitting, and an engineer here will go through the B7 setup with them.
- We change cars every few years. Are the units wasted?
- No. Each one can be moved into the replacement car and set up again, and fresh configurations are free of charge.
