Key features

  • Brings conventional ITT rocker switches into the PMC multiplex system, cutting individual switch wiring
  • 6-way (906/916) and 9-way (909/919) versions across 12V and 24V
  • Switches report to the PMC CPU rather than switching loads directly, keeping switch design simple
  • Can be combined into banks of 12, 18 or more
  • Automatic dim/bright backlighting; on/off indicated by a change in backlighting
  • Switch characteristics changeable in software; bespoke panels available (Britax, Carling, EAO)

The PMC rocker switch adaptors let conventional ITT rocker switches connect directly into the PMC system, eliminating individual connections and separate wiring for each switch. The rocker switches communicate information to the PMC Central Processing Unit rather than controlling loads directly, which allows simpler switch designs without multiple poles or throws.

They are offered in 6-way (00-00643-906 / -916) and 9-way (00-00656-909 / -919) versions across 12V and 24V. Each adaptor can operate on one of 16 channels (A-P), selected by jumpers, and modules can be combined into banks of 12, 18 or more. The 6-way module measures 70 x 163 x 35 mm and should be installed in a protected environment inside the vehicle.

The adaptors accept all types of ITT rocker switch, indicate on/off status through a change in backlighting, and feature an automatic dim/bright backlight. Switch characteristics can be changed in software, and customised switch panels are available using Britax, Carling and EAO switches. UK manufactured.
