Cruise control retrofit

Adding cruise control to a Renault Master

A Master spends its day loaded and moving: parcel multi-drop, removals, a minibus on a school contract or a tipper heading to site. Ordered without cruise, it leaves its driver pressing the accelerator on every trunk road between jobs.

One base, many bodies

The Master leaves Renault as a panel van or a chassis cab and then becomes a Luton, a dropside, a tipper or a motorhome. The body changes who drives it, but the long empty legs back to the depot look the same in every one.

A rota of drivers, a spread of speeds

Put several drivers through one vehicle and each holds a different pace on the same road. Some creep up, some dawdle, and the operator gets the camera letters and the customer complaints. In a tall, heavy van that variation is felt by the load and by anyone sitting in the back.

Supplied for the Master and its job

We program CAN KONTROL CRUISE for the Master in front of you and it is put together in Chorley in 12V or 24V form. Speed comes off the Master's network, leaving the pedal and its sensor alone. Converters can send chassis lists, noting each Master's year and engine, and every unit arrives set for its own vehicle.

Questions about the Renault Master

The Master is also badged as a Vauxhall and a Nissan. Is that the same part?
Master, Movano and NV400 each sit in our data separately. Quote the logbook make and model and that vehicle is what we configure for.
Could you supply units for a whole conversion run?
Yes. Give us the quantity and the chassis details, and every unit is configured before dispatch.
Who usually fits it on a Master?
Normally your own workshop or the converter. We agree how the Master will be connected with them before the order is confirmed.
