Which SX4 are we talking about?

The name has covered the original compact crossover and the later S-Cross, and they are quite different cars underneath. So that comes first, followed by its age, its engine and whether all four wheels are driven.

Inside is a single CAN KONTROL CRUISE, Lancashire built, its software written around the SX4 you described. Road speed is read off the SX4 network, so nothing bolts onto the engine. Should the SX4 go, its successor can take over the box once we have rewritten it, free.
