Citroen Jumpy engine runlock
In summer a refrigerated Jumpy on a delivery round cannot afford to switch off at every stop. The chiller works hardest just when the rear doors keep opening, and the van has to stay secure while its driver is on a doorstep with the paperwork.
Summer rounds in a chilled Jumpy
Florists, caterers and pharmacy couriers often run a Jumpy with an insulated body and a fridge unit. That compressor depends on the engine. On a hot afternoon with a dozen drops, every engine-off moment lets the temperature in the back creep upward.
A spoiled load, or a missing van
A load that drifts out of temperature may have to be thrown away. Drivers know this, so they leave the van ticking over and the cab unlocked while they deliver, which puts it at the mercy of anyone on the pavement.
Runlock matched to your Jumpy
CAN KONTROL RUNLOCK keeps the Jumpy's engine turning once the driver has pocketed the key, with its doors still lockable. Climb in and step on the clutch, knock the handbrake lever down or open up the cab while the agreed conditions are missing, and the Jumpy leaves runlock. Coverage starts from 2017. If long motorway legs are part of the round, the Jumpy cruise control retrofit is sold as its own module.

Questions about the Citroen Jumpy
- Can the same setup go on every Jumpy in our fleet?
- Yes, provided each one is in our coverage. Share the age and spec of each van and our engineer checks every unit before we build them.
- We also want it in winter for the cab heater. Is that a different unit?
- No. The module's only job is keeping the engine going, so anything the van powers from it, chiller or heater, keeps working.
- Is the module tied to this one van for life?
- No. Once the Jumpy makes way for a newer van, we rewrite the unit's settings for it, free, provided that van appears in our coverage.
