Cruise control retrofit

Adding cruise control to a Citroen Jumpy

The Jumpy is the mid-size Citroen panel van, sold in Britain as the Dispatch. It carries trades and couriers on long daily routes, and many were ordered with only the basics.

The middle van in a working fleet

A Jumpy is big enough for real loads but still easy to drive and park, which is why fleets use it for engineers, couriers and service crews. Those drivers often spend the first and last hour of the day on a motorway. That is where a Jumpy driver misses cruise.

Basic spec, long routes

Vans bought on price tend to come with the minimum, and fleet buyers rarely tick extras that do not affect the payload. The cost shows up later, in drivers who are tired before they reach site and the odd speeding notice from a long, monotonous run.

Fitted the same way across the fleet

Each Jumpy gets its own CAN KONTROL CRUISE module, built in Chorley and fed by speed messages from that van's network. Nobody touches the pedal box. As vans come and go, the modules are rewritten for their replacements free.

Questions about the Citroen Jumpy

My van says Dispatch on the back. Is it the same thing?
It belongs to the same family. Note exactly what is badged on yours and the setup is confirmed for that van.
Can the passenger version be done too?
The people carrier is listed separately as the Spacetourer. Send its details for a separate check.
We run Citroen, Ford and Vauxhall vans. Can you cover the lot?
Send the list. Every van is checked and programmed individually, so a mix of makes changes nothing about how we supply.
