Fiat Scudo runlock module
A Scudo working for a utility or roadside crew is often parked with its beacons flashing while the team works a few metres away. Lights and tools rely on the engine staying on, and the van cannot be left open and ready to drive.

Service crews kit out the Scudo with light bars, inverters for drills and saws, compressors and charging racks. Jobs run from one shift into the next, and the van may change hands mid-job, with the next team taking it on at the same spot.
Shift changes and unattended engines
A roadside handover is when keys get left in vans. The outgoing driver leaves it idling for the incoming crew and walks off to their own car. For those few minutes the Scudo is running, unlocked and unattended. Switch off instead and the beacons and tools go dark with it.
The Scudo unit, set up for the crew
We set up our runlock module for your Scudo's age and spec, and for the kit it has to power. Its engine keeps going without the key in the barrel, and the cab doors lock as normal. The module watches the Scudo's data network, so a boot on any pedal, a dropped handbrake lever or the driving door opening beyond the configured limits cancels runlock. Scorpion makes it in Chorley.
