Cruise control retrofit

Adding cruise control to a Fiat Fiorino

The Fiorino is a small, nimble van bought for urban drops, and then the round grows. Suddenly it is doing dual carriageway stretches between towns, and a van that never had cruise is asking plenty of whoever drives it.

A town van that left town

Couriers and small businesses pick the Fiorino because it parks anywhere and costs little to run. As routes stretch, the van spends more of each day travelling A-roads at one pace, which is precisely where a speed hold earns its keep.

Sister vans are not identical twins

The Fiorino was developed alongside the Citroen Nemo and Peugeot Bipper, and the family resemblance tempts people to treat all three as one vehicle. Electrical details are not guaranteed to line up, and an assumption made at the parts counter gets paid for at the van. We check a Fiorino as a Fiorino.

How we supply it

Each Fiorino unit is programmed ahead of dispatch from Lancashire. Road speed is read from the van's own data network, so throttle and pedals stay exactly as they are. Write to us with the van's year, its engine and the size of your fleet, and our engineer replies with a Fiorino configuration.

Questions about the Fiat Fiorino

What about the Qubo passenger model?
The Qubo is recorded separately, so name it when you write.
We are a one-van business. Is that worth your time?
Yes. Single vans are welcome, and a lone Fiorino gets the same per-vehicle configuration as a fleet order.
What happens when we replace the van?
Take the module out and send us the new van's details. Reconfiguration is free, and if the new van is covered the same unit carries on working.
