Cruise control retrofit

Cruise control for a Mitsubishi Pajero

In Britain the big Mitsubishi was badged Shogun, so a Pajero here is usually an import, from Ireland, Japan or further afield. Owners who brought one in for its toughness then discover that a fair number came without cruise control.

Imported toughness

Pajero owners tend to know their vehicle well. Many chose a Japanese or Irish market example for its condition or its specification, and they use it for towing, rural work and long trips. Cruise is the missing piece on those journeys.

Market versions differ

A vehicle built for another market can have different electronics, switches and wiring from the UK-badged Shogun. That catches out anyone who assumes one part fits both. The owner ends up with controls that do not match or a system that will not engage.

Checked, then configured in Chorley

Before configuring CAN KONTROL CRUISE for a Pajero, an engineer checks which market it was built for, when it was made and its engine. It relies on the Pajero's CAN messages and needs no actuator. Configuration happens in Chorley. If you also run a UK-market car, the Shogun retrofit covers it.

Questions about the Mitsubishi Pajero

My Pajero is a grey import from Japan. Can you help?
Possibly. Send chassis details plus the Pajero engine code and build date, and we look into whether that Pajero broadcasts what our module needs.
Is a Pajero Sport the same thing?
No, the Pajero Sport is its own vehicle. Name yours so we check the correct one.
Can the unit be reprogrammed later?
Yes. Updating its configuration is free, so the module can move with you.
