Cruise control retrofit

Retrofit cruise control for the Toyota Hiace

Hiace vans have a name for running and running, so many are still out doing deliveries, trade work or carrying a camper conversion. A driver who spends all day in one without cruise is working harder than necessary.

A van that refuses to retire

Plenty of these vans have outlived their first owners' businesses and moved on to second careers as builders' vans or weekend campers. They get used hard, kept going, and driven long distances between jobs or sites.

Long days at the wheel

Delivery and trade drivers often pass the bulk of a shift on the A1, the M6 or roads like them. Without cruise, that means hours of steady pedal pressure and checking the speedo. Tired drivers make mistakes, and in a loaded van that matters.

Made for working vans

CAN KONTROL CRUISE gives the Hiace a proper speed hold using information the van already broadcasts, without any actuator under the bonnet. Chorley builds and programmes the unit for the Hiace's 12V system. When the van is sold or replaced, the next one inherits the module once its software has been rewritten at no cost.
