Toyota has put the Urban Cruiser name on more than one small crossover, and owners of some versions find cruise was never fitted. For a commuter on the bypass every morning, that is a daily irritation.

One name, different cars

The badge has appeared on different vehicles over the years, some petrol and some electric. Before we can help, we have to establish which you own, and roughly when it was registered.

A small crossover doing big miles

People choose a compact crossover for the higher seat and easy parking, then use it for everything. Long commutes and weekend runs with no speed hold leave the driver working the pedal constantly, and that gets tiresome.

How we approach it

Our module follows the Urban Cruiser's own speed messages, and adds no hardware by the throttle. Chorley handles the programming before dispatch. If it is still within Toyota's warranty, ask about our inductive connection, which leaves the factory loom uncut.
