Cruise control retrofit

Cruise control for the Volkswagen Beetle

People buy the modern Beetle because they love the shape, and they keep it because it is easy to live with. Then the touring holidays and roof-down weekends start, and having no cruise turns a lovely drive into one spent watching the dial.

A car bought with the heart

Beetle owners are enthusiasts in their own way. They wash it, they name it, they go to meets. They want any change to look and feel as if the car came with it, not like a gadget stuck to the dash.

Roof down, eyes on the speedometer

In a Cabriolet with the roof down, wind noise makes it harder to judge speed by ear. On long A roads and motorways the needle wanders, and the driver keeps checking it instead of enjoying the run. That is not why anyone bought a convertible.

Making it feel original

CAN KONTROL CRUISE uses the Beetle's own speed signals, so no mechanical link is bolted to the engine. How the driver works it is decided with you, so the result sits naturally in the cabin. We are part of Scorpion Group and assemble the module in our own Chorley electronics plant.

Questions about the Volkswagen Beetle

Is the classic air-cooled Beetle covered?
No, this is for the modern Beetle with a CAN network. Its registration date will make clear which car you have.
Will the controls look like an add-on?
They are chosen jointly before supply, aiming for a setup that suits the cabin. Say what you would like to press.
Does the Cabriolet need its own setup?
Mention hatch or Cabriolet along with the engine and age, and our engineer will check it.
