Cruise control retrofit

Cruise control for the Citroen Jumper

Jumper is the name this big Citroen van carries across most of Europe, and plenty arrive in the UK as imports or as motorhome bases. A Jumper without cruise means the long drives to the ferry and beyond are all done by foot.

A European van with a British owner

Many Jumpers here started life as continental-registered vans or as motorhome conversions bought abroad. They are used for touring, removals and long delivery runs. Distance is the whole job, and a Jumper driver lacking cruise feels all of it.

Sibling vans, different details

The Jumper shares its body and much of its running gear with the Fiat Ducato and Peugeot Boxer. That family resemblance makes it tempting to treat them as one. Owners who do so can end up chasing small electrical differences that turn out to matter. If your base is the Fiat, see the Ducato retrofit page.

The van checked before supply

Send the Jumper's year, engine and controls, and an engineer confirms that Jumper before a module is made up. Chorley then writes the CAN KONTROL CRUISE software, which takes the big Citroen's speed off its network. The accelerator stays exactly as Citroen built it.

Questions about the Citroen Jumper

Is the Jumper the same as the Relay?
In the UK this van is sold as the Relay. Say which badge and which market your van came from, so the engineer looks at the right Jumper.
My motorhome only comes out in summer. Is that an issue?
No. Whenever the Jumper is driven, the module works, and months parked up make no difference.
Can a motorhome dealer order these for customers?
Yes. Dealers and converters are supplied as trade, with each Jumper base programmed individually.
