Cruise control retrofit

Citroen Relay / Jumper cruise control retrofit

The Relay is the big Citroen van behind many UK fleets, minibuses, Luton boxes and camper conversions. Plenty were built without cruise, and Relay drivers clock long motorway days.

Large van, many jobs

Relays are delivered as panel vans and chassis cabs, then turned into dropsides, tippers, ambulances, accessible minibuses and motorhomes. Whatever the body, the driver usually has a long route. Fleet managers running them hear the same request from drivers again and again.

Converted vans complicate things

Once a converter has added extra electrics, nobody wants yet another box that clashes with them. A badly matched part on a converted Relay can keep it out of service while someone traces wiring that three different companies have touched.

Configured per van, at our factory

CAN KONTROL CRUISE takes each Relay's speed off the Citroen bus and lets whoever is driving that Relay hold, resume or cancel a chosen speed. Chorley writes one module per Relay and picks the supply voltage while doing so. An engineer confirms the details first, including any conversion work.

Questions about the Citroen Relay / Jumper

Our minibuses are Relay conversions. Can you supply them?
Yes. Send the base van details and the conversion type, and the module software is written around that minibus.
Can modules move when a fleet Relay is replaced?
They can. Rewriting a Relay module for its successor costs nothing.
Is 24V an option?
Either 12V or 24V can be chosen at configuration, and the engineer sets whichever your Relay needs.
