The PMC Central Processing Unit is the main component of Intellitec’s Programmable Multiplex Control (PMC) family. It provides 320 channels and is programmed via Windows-based PMC II software. The system controls up to 32 remote input/output modules through a multiplex communications system using three standard automotive cables.
The CPU gathers input and switch information through the remote modules, interprets the inputs, determines output states and communicates over the PMC link. It includes 160 built-in timer channels that function as on-delay, off-delay, flasher and interval timers, plus 160 virtual channels that enable complex logic relationships. The PMC system communicates continually at 4kHz, with each input and output updated every 0.040s.
Four high-speed channels are available to control elements requiring a higher speed, and a sleep mode reduces overall system operating current for constant operation with minimal battery drain. An RS-232C communications port supports diagnostics. Available in 12V (00-01015-120) and 24V (00-01015-240) versions, with NPIA Spec 5 and E11 approvals. UK manufactured.
