Cruise control retrofit

Retrofit cruise control for the Nissan NT400

An NT400 on a tipper or box body earns its money moving between sites, and a lot of that time is spent on fast A-roads and motorways. Without cruise, the driver manages the speed by foot for the whole of every run.

A truck that works long days

Hire fleets, groundworks firms and local authorities run the NT400 because it is compact and carries plenty. Days start early and finish late, with long legs between jobs. Anything that makes the cab less tiring is worth having by Friday afternoon.

Fleet trucks cannot sit waiting for parts

When an NT400 is in for an accessory fit, it is missing from a job somewhere. A cruise module that turns up set for the wrong vehicle, or the wrong voltage, means the truck goes back out without it and the fit is rebooked. Fleet managers remember who caused that.

Matched to the NT400 before it leaves us

Each NT400 unit is built for the truck's electrical system, 12V or 24V, before dispatch. It takes the NT400's speed reading over CAN, with no linkage to the pedal. Once one truck is confirmed, identical trucks in your fleet share that configuration, and later changes cost nothing.
