Cruise control retrofit

Cruise control for the Nissan Pixo

The Pixo is one of the smallest, simplest cars Nissan sold here, and it was bought because it cost so little to keep on the road. Some owners are surprised that cruise control is even a question worth asking about it.

Tiny car, longer drives than planned

Built alongside the Suzuki Alto, the Pixo was meant for short hops around town. People now commuting in one on faster roads find the little engine wants a steady pedal. Keeping such a light car at one pace into a headwind takes constant attention.

A budget car deserves a straight answer

On a car of modest value, nobody wants to pay for a part that turns out not to suit it. Simpler cars can carry less on their network, and a generic module may find nothing it can use. The honest answer comes from checking first.

What we check, then what we supply

From the Pixo's registration year and engine, our engineer works out whether the car shares the signals CAN KONTROL CRUISE relies on. When the answer is good, our Lancashire factory sets the unit up for this little Nissan, with no actuator at the pedal and switches agreed with you. If it does not, you hear that plainly instead of being sold something.
