Cruise control retrofit

Adding cruise control to a Peugeot 207

The 207 is an older supermini now, but plenty still do the daily run as cheap, comfortable transport. Owners who have kept one this long often ask whether it can finally have the cruise control it was sold without.

Hatch, estate and coupe cabriolet

Peugeot offered the 207 in three shapes: a hatch, an SW estate, and the CC with its folding hard roof. Each has its fans: the SW for practical families, the CC for summer drives to the coast. Long journeys are common to all of them.

Older Peugeots and borrowed parts

Cars of this age often have a history of second-hand parts and previous repairs, and the wiring may have been touched. Add a generic cruise box to that and the result can be a hold that works on the drive and quits on the motorway. On a car worth relatively little, a failed upgrade feels like money thrown away.

Our 207 setup

Give us the 207's age, engine and body, and our engineer checks it for the data the module needs. CAN KONTROL CRUISE is then matched to that 207 at our factory and picks its speed up from the network, leaving the pedal untouched. The driver gets a clear way to set, resume and cancel, on switches you have agreed with us.

Questions about the Peugeot 207

Is the 207 the same as the 208 for this?
No, they are different generations with different electronics. The 208 has its own page; the 207 is confirmed separately.
Does the CC roof mechanism affect it?
Mention the CC body when you write, so we have a complete description of the car.
What if a previous owner fitted aftermarket electrics?
Tell us what you know about them, such as an alarm or a tracker. It helps the engineer choose a sensible connection point.
