Cruise control retrofit

Peugeot Boxer: cruise control for vans and motorhomes

Boxers carry parcels, tools and furniture all week, and a good number sit underneath motorhomes and campervans. Whichever it is, a long motorway day with no cruise leaves the driver aching.

Same base as the Ducato and Relay

The Boxer comes from the same family as the Fiat Ducato and Citroen Relay, which is why it turns up under so many coachbuilt motorhomes and panel van conversions. Removal firms and delivery companies run them as panel vans and Lutons. Distance is what all of them have in common.

Conversions and coachbuilders complicate things

A motorhome builder may have added leisure electrics, extra screens and a second battery, and a fleet van may carry trackers and beacons. A cruise part chosen without that knowledge risks being wired into the wrong place. On a motorhome, the fault often shows itself on the first big tour, far from home.

Built for the Boxer you run

Let us know what is on the chassis, its age, engine and voltage, and the Boxer's CAN KONTROL CRUISE is programmed to suit at our Chorley works. The module listens for the van's speed over CAN, so there is no linkage at the pedal. The Ducato page covers the Fiat-badged version.
