The Battery Guard 2000 constantly monitors the available battery power when the engine or charging system is off. If the battery voltage drops below its threshold, the ECU triggers a timed disconnection of non-essential loads to guarantee that enough power remains to start the vehicle. Manual reset via the switch restores ignition power once the operator is ready.
It is offered in 100A and 200A ratings across 12V and 24V. Variants include versions with a round reset switch and module-only builds without automatic reconnect (part numbers K01 to K04 and related module SKUs).
The unit has a fully waterproof ECU and Delphi Packard IP67 connectors, with ignition protection and a system self-test on start. The relay itself is not waterproof and should be fitted in a suitable IP-rated enclosure where a fully sealed solution is needed. The Battery Guard 2000 is approved by Volvo, Paccar, Iveco, Scania, Dennis and MAN. UK manufactured.
