The Battery Guard 250A (BGB250) is the highest-current unit in the range. It protects a battery by monitoring voltage levels and disconnecting loads during over-voltage, under-voltage and exhaustive discharge conditions, all while drawing minimal quiescent current.
It automatically detects whether it is fitted to a 12V or 24V system and uses a bistable relay design, which allows a high switching current to be handled with extremely low operating current. Both the under-voltage disconnect threshold and the reset voltage are adjustable so the guard can be matched to the application. UK manufactured.
